Low-code platform adds one more person who insists on writing the code by hand. Sources describe the terms as "a salary".

Software EngineerChennai
Kissflow, the Chennai company whose low-code platform lets businesses build workflows without a developer in the room, has hired a developer. Adheeban Manoharan joined the firm in December 2023 as a Software Engineer. He works on the backend of the platform: the services, data and APIs that run underneath the drag-and-drop.
The move followed two and a half years at Saama, where he built data pipelines and web applications for life-sciences clients. The scale at Kissflow is different. The platform serves organisations in bulk, so a slow query is a headline, not a ticket.
In 2025 his team entered the company’s FlowForge AI hackathon under the name 404 – Agent Not Found. The team took first prize. It was, in the end, found.
Intern Promoted to Analytic Developer; Spreadsheets Reported Nervous
Two and a half years of Python, data pipelines and web applications for clinical-trial analytics.

Associate Analytic DeveloperChennai
Saama Technologies, which builds analytics for clinical trials, converted its intern into an Associate Analytic Developer in July 2021. He stayed until December 2023.
In that time he wrote Python for data pipelines and built the web applications that sat on top of them. He also started a blog on Dev.to, which this paper covers in the Opinion section, and which at one point explained how to make ChatGPT read your documents to more than 40 approving readers.
The period ended the way these periods end. A larger platform called, and the spreadsheets were left to recover.
Statistics Student Infiltrates Software Industry Through Internship
Final-year undergraduate from Madras Christian College takes a desk at Saama in November 2020. Nobody checks.

InternChennai
Adheeban Manoharan was a statistics student, not a computer science one, when Saama took him on as an intern in November 2020. He has described himself as coming from a non-technical background. The company appears not to have minded.
The internship ran alongside the final year of his degree at Madras Christian College. By June 2021 it was over, and by July a full-time offer had replaced it. The transition from statistics to software was complete, except for the habit of checking every number twice, which this paper is told never went away.
